Ever Disappointed in the networks?

I am always disappointed in the networks.  If they are not cancelling my favorite shows, they are scheduling them at the stupidest times.  And then there are the morons who go out of their way to ignore the scifi and fantasy actors, writers, producers and all else for the awards that are given away to everybody else.   The Babylon 5 years Babylon 5 should have cleaned up with best actor/actress, supporting actor/actress, writer, director, producer, drama, action, etc.   Then there was the ten year run of Star Gate SG1.   Wake up, it ran for ten (10) years!    Buffy, they couldn't cancel it, even when the network tried.   Herc/Xeena.  Even Star Trek couldn't be gotten rid of even when it was cancelled in the 60's.

Lately they have cancelled a cadre of great and not so great scifi and fantasy shows.
Sure some of them weren't all that great, but some were quite awesome.  The cape for instance.  That show was awesome.  Something the kids could get into.  With great plot spins and twists it was a comic book on tv.   It was great.  No Ordinary Family was the same thing.  Sort of a CSI meets the Fantastic Four meets the Incredibles.  Awesome stuff.  Yeah, its comic book, so you have to suspend some disbelief but that's part of the fun.  The network execs have to look at it like that.  They think we are stupid anyway- they give us "reality tv"

Now we have some great stuff on tv now.  Game of Thrones, Fringe, True Blood, Sanctuary, Warehouse 13, and that Amazon looks like it will be great if the Network idiots get off their asses and get it on the air.  Which is another thing.   The idiotic way they put the tv shows on.  What is with this archaic fall/winter/spring/summer tv seasons?   I want my show, and I want it now, not in 4-5 months damn it!

The makers of fine TV should bypass the networks and create their own tv space on cable and satellite and put up their own tv and movies independent of the networks!
